Our office will also be unmanned from 21st January to 1st February as we’re away doing a full Impreza race car wiring job (EG33, sequential box, S8, PDU, GPS etc.) – we will monitor emails and voicemail regularly but we won’t be able to deliver any orders during that time.

After just a year in our compact office, we ran out of space so have just moved to a 1000 sq. ft. light industrial unit.
The move gives us a very much larger working space and this, coupled with an investment in wire processing machinery and, soon, a vehicle lift, means we are much better placed to work on customer’s vehicles for custom wiring work. It also allows us to process higher volumes of “by post” looms, loom adapters, and sensor/cable assemblies.

Japspeed’s new 370Z project car uses our Toucan as an integral part of its dash, and they’ve added our shiftlight too.

Available immediately from our shop, we are pleased to announce the launch of our long-awaited shiftlight module.
This compact unit has 8 high brightness full-colour LEDs that can be configured directly from a Toucan unit, or using a PC programme.
It can be connected directly to any CANbus system that has RPM data available – the PC programme allows full configuration of the CANbus parameters as well as LED setup allowing direct operation with ECUs such as Syvecs, AlcaTek, MoTeC, Link/Vi-PEC etc without the need for a Toucan unit.

Launched today, Toucan now supports the Link G4 and G4+, and the Vi-PEC V-series and i-series engine management systems.
With the G4 and V-series, Toucan acts as a gauge-only device, providing the usual range of real-time gauges, for most sensors connected to the ECU.
With the G4+ and i-series systems, Toucan can also act as a control interface allowing launch control and antilag to be turned on and off from the touchscreen. It also controls up to 8 Digital Inputs (“DI’s”) over CANbus, allowing various table combinations to be chosen from Toucan’s map/CAL selection screens. This adds real time map switching to the G4+ and i-series ECUs.
Cables are available with either the 6 pin CAN connector, or with pins fitted for the ECU header, depending on the model.
Toucan is in stock and ready to ship immediately for Life Racing, Syvecs, AlcaTek, MoTeC, MBE, Link and Vi-PEC engine management systems.
After a frustrating month or more while we dealt with a faulty batch of boards, we’re pleased to say that Toucans are now back in stock and ready to ship.
